Ivy Academy was founded in September 2024 by Robin Dellot and Kristin Frey. With many years of experience in early childhood education, they worked together to create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where young children can learn and grow. Robin and Kristin are passionate about building a strong community with families and providing a supportive foundation for each child’s early educational journey.

I am the Co-Founder and
Co-Director of Ivy Academy!
With over 20 years of experience teaching preschool in Hingham, I'm certified by The Commonwealth of Massachusetts as both a Director and Lead Teacher. I have a deep passion and devotion for early childhood education - helping children excel and develop a love of learning.
My co-director and I are very excited to partner with staff and families to provide an environment that is safe and nurturing and promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth and a positive self-image.
While a resident of Hingham for over 30 years, I raised three fabulous daughters with my husband, Jim, and we are expecting our first grandchild in April! Outside of school, I spend time with my large extended family and adorable dog, Rocky. I look forward to meeting and getting to know our new Ivy Academy families and children this year!

Kristin FreyI am the Co-Founder and
Co-Director of Ivy Academy!
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and a minor in Business Organization from Southern New Hampshire University, with dreams of opening my own child care center or nursery school! I have over 17 years of experience working as a lead teacher inside infant, toddler & preschool classrooms and administrative experience as an assistant director and director.
I live in Hingham with my husband, John, and my four children, who are 8, 6, 5, and 2 years old. If I am not on a soccer field or at a dance recital, you can find me playing outside with my children or down the Cape on the beach!
Working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers has always been a passion of mine and a large part of my life. This led me to the exciting new adventure of opening Ivy Academy with Robin to provide families with quality partners in the care and support of their children. Allowing them to learn, explore, and grow with us and at home. I look forward to welcoming families into our programs.
